Eye Laser Treatments
Eye laser treatments, also known as laser eye surgery among the public, involve reshaping the cornea, the transparent layer, with a laser beam. This method is used to correct certain vision problems such as myopia, astigmatism, and hypermetropia. This allows the patient to achieve sharper vision and correct focusing.
The methods used in eye laser treatments include i-Lasik, Lasek / PRK / No Touch Laser, Argon Laser, Yag Laser, and SLT.
ILASIK
ILASIK is a laser eye surgery procedure used to treat eye defects. This method, which has much lower complication risks, is the most practical treatment method for patients who do not want to use glasses or contact lenses. It is a bladeless treatment method used for the treatment of very common vision defects such as myopia, astigmatism, and hypermetropia. i-LASIK is highly attractive due to its short recovery period. During this procedure, the surgeon uses a laser to create a flap on the cornea. Again, with the support of the laser, the shape of the cornea is changed, and the vision is corrected.
Approximately 80% of people worldwide have a refractive error. With the advancement of technology, laser treatments, which yield the most reliable results in the treatment of refractive errors found in many people, are utilized. Refractive surgery has been used since the 1980s. The primary aim of this treatment is to improve people's quality of life and to lead a more comfortable life. Nowadays, i-LASIK is used worldwide for the treatment of refractive errors. This treatment method is entirely personalized. Examinations and tests are also conducted in accordance with the patient's eye structure.

LASEK / PRK / No Touch Laser
LASEK or PRK techniques are known as classic laser treatments. These treatments, used for the last 25 years, have reached a point where very successful results can be obtained over many years. Therefore, laser treatments such as LASEK and PRK are resorted to for correcting eye defects.
The condition where the refractive power of the eye is more than normal is called myopia, while hypermetropia is a defect where the refractive power of the eye is less than normal. In addition, astigmatism refers to the unequal and different values of these described defects or both in the eye's quadrants. Each of these defects causes a decrease in visual acuity. They are also conditions that reduce the quality of vision. However, their treatments are possible with laser technologies.

Argon Laser
Argon Laser is a technology preferred by eye doctors, especially for the treatment of retinal diseases, with its blue-green wavelength. During the treatment, laser beams focus on a specific part of the eye and treat the cells in this area with heat. Argon laser treatment allows for very precise procedures without damaging surrounding tissues.

YAG Laser
YAG Laser Treatment, is a frequently used method for the treatment of various vision problems. The most common use is for the treatment of opacification that can develop over time in the posterior capsule in patients who have previously undergone cataract surgery. During cataract surgery, after removing the cataract lens, the replacement lens is placed inside a thin membrane called a capsule. This thin membrane layer that keeps the lens in place can thicken or whiten over time in every eye. This is a natural process and not related to a complication that occurred during surgery. YAG Laser Treatment is used to eliminate the blurriness caused by this process. During the procedure, the eye doctor cleans the cloudy parts inside the eye with laser light, and the treatment is completed within seconds. This allows the patient's vision to become clear again. The recovery process of the procedure is short, and the risk of complications is very low.

Laser Treatment for Eye Pressure (SLT)
There are different methods developed for the treatment of eye pressure. One of these is a laser treatment method known as SLT Treatment. Eye pressure is the condition where the fluid inside the eye has a pressure higher than normal. This condition can affect the optic nerve and cause vision loss. SLT treatment aims to reduce eye pressure by increasing the drainage of the fluid inside the eye. This highly effective and very safe method can reduce the high intraocular pressure of the patient by up to 30%. The procedure is completed within minutes and starts to show its effect shortly.
