- Why is laser eye surgery in Istanbul much cheaper than in Europe?
- The personnel, space, and advertising costs, as well as taxes and social security contributions, are much higher in Europe than in Turkey. Additionally, the number of treatments is lower. - What about flights and accommodation?
- Flights are not included. However, transfers from the airport to our hospital, transfers after the surgery from the hospital to the airport, accommodation in the hospital, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the hospital are included.
- How long does the laser eye surgery take?
- The treatment takes about 15 minutes per eye. The actual laser time is about 5 seconds per diopter. This means the cornea closes very quickly and cannot dry out. The extensive preliminary examinations take up most of the time.
- What is the exact procedure?
- You will of course be picked up from the airport and taken to your hotel. You have plenty of time to relax before and after the treatment.
